Designer T-shirt shortened
A beaded graphic T-shirt taken up at the hem so the motif is not cut. Done on the machine in our Chigwell workshop.
Shortening a T-shirt is simple until the chest is covered in beads or a large print. Cut the hem in the wrong place and you slice the artwork. The length has to come out below the motif, with a new hem that sits as straight as the original.
This navy designer T-shirt has a beaded graphic across the chest. We shortened it for the client so the square of pearls and ovals stayed complete. Knit fabric is pressed lightly so the beads are not crushed.
